We couldn’t recommend Jan enough. We got married July 2024 and Jan was the easiest decision we made when it came to wedding planning. She is truly the most wonderful and talented Lady. From the first appointment where she invited us to her lovely home to showcase some of her work and we also got to sample some baked goods to actually seeing her on the big day everything was perfect. We opted for a four tier royal icing cake and two mini cakes for our mums after Jan recommended these at our meeting, and what a wonderful idea that was. I’m very fussy and particular with what I like, I came to Jan with lots of images and ideas. Jan was fantastic at meeting all my expectations. We opted for the cake testing box to take home and did a cake tasting evening. The cakes were packaged to a very high standard and had a lot of attention to detail. They were all super tasty and it was such a nice experience sampling the flavour's together. Within around a week Jan sent across different hand drawn cake designs and quotes to look over and pick from, each one went into so much detail they really were mini masterpieces in themselves. Jan was super accommodating to the changes I wanted and filled me with confidence with how our cake was going to be on the big day. On the wedding day my husband and I were taken aback by how amazing the cake was, it was everything we hoped and more. The intricate detail was incredible, it matched the wedding theme and was an absolute show stopper. I sent an image of the flowers that we were having on the wedding day beforehand to Jan and she managed to match them perfectly, the flowers looked real they were that good! Jan, we honestly can’t thank you enough 🤍!

Wow, I don't even know where to start! Jan was absolutely incredible from start to finish and the cake surpassed all of our expectations! It was one of our favourite memories of wedding planning coming to see Jan and take cake away to choose together, it was just a lovely experience.
Her professionalism is amazing and we just felt in such good hands we knew it was going to be amazing. We have had compliment after compliment about the cake, how it looked and also how incredible it tasted!!

Jan is lovely!
We asked for Gluten Free (our main focus) which she was able to accommodate and made cakes which tasted divine.
Great choice in flavours, our difficulty was limiting it to three. She met the design brief so well and our cake looked spectacular, the sugar flowers looked real!

We couldn't have been happier with our cake! Jan was so friendly and helpful.
After a consultation, she sketched several design options for us to choose from and even sent us a free taster box with 5 different cake flavours to help us decide. We went for 1 layer of salted caramel and 2 of white chocolate and passionfruit. Both tasted amazing.
The detail and intricacy of the sugar flowers is amazing and they turned out so beautifully.
Can't recommend cake celebrations enough!
The cake perfectly fit the theme of our wedding and it makes me so happy to look back at the pictures of it :)

Jan at Wedding Cakes by Cake Celebrations is simply amazing!
Prior to booking her for our wedding, she answered numerous questions and mooted ideas with us. After booking Jan for our big day, we met with her to design our wonderful wedding cake.
We are based in Cheshire and we found it impossible to find any other baker who would work with royal icing. This was no problem for Jan which proves how experienced she is.
Jan listened to all of our suggestions and made the cake of our dreams. It looked amazing. I was actually reluctant to cut it on the day because it looked too good to eat.
We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Jan. She is a true artist. Thank you so much from us both.

Our wedding cake was so stunning and just perfect. The attention to detail was incredible- there were little 'buttons' down the back of the cake to match the buttons down the back of my dress and train.
We opted for bottom tier of zingy lemon and top two as white choc & raspberry. Everybody said how delicious and moist it was.
Jan is SO talented, organised and great at communicating.

Jan was the answer to a dream - I struggled to find a wedding cake designer who knew how to do a traditional wedding cake with royal icing and a sugar posy on top. When I contacted Jan, she said this was one of her favourite styles and that not many brides request it in favour of more modern techniques. Not only did the cake live up to the vision I had, but it also tasted divine! Jan even prepared a take away cake for us that was just as wonderful. Jan has excellent service, a hand rendered sketch (worthy of framing) of designs to choose from, excellent presentation materials and she was such a joy to work with on the journey to the big day!

We ordered taster cakes and struggled to decide, the range of flavours is great and genuinely all taste fab, not to mention the sample pack you get is gorgeous.
Jan liaised with my florist to ensure the foliage and flowers were safe, she delivered and set up our stunning cake, and throughout the whole process always kept me updated and couldn't be more useful.
Honestly, I can't thank her enough. Highly recommend!!

I cannot speak highly enough of Jan, her cakes and her collaborative approach.
When I started looking for a cake maker for our wedding this year I was over the moon to find the Cake Celebrations website and really enjoyed looking at all her wonderful cakes. From the very beginning she has been so lovely to work with. I found an image reference which I thought would be nice recreated but when we saw the actual cake on our wedding day we were completely blown away. It was even better than the Pinterest reference with edible gold leaf and pastel roses all over. Truly beautiful and tasted divine.
Jan’s Cake Taster Box was also fantastic and really helped us narrow down the flavours we wanted for each tier, we even had a gluten free tier which was no issue at all for her.

We had two very special family birthdays to celebrate at The Three Fishes in Mitton as it was my sister’s 80th and the 21st birthday of her granddaughter.
On meeting Jan at her home I immediately felt very confident that whatever she produced would be great. However, it was more than just great, Jan produced the most magnificent and beautifully decorated cake for our family celebration. Decorated with incredibly realistic sugar flower sprays and delicate icing, everyone thought the cake was stunning and when it came to tasting Jan’s light lemon sponge cake - it was delicious! The Belgian white chocolate ganache, fondant icing, butter cream and lemon curd resulted in a zingy, refreshing and very moreish treat.
I cannot praise Jan’s artistry and baking skills enough. She is brilliant! I didn’t know Jan before but I certainly hope to meet her again for more celebration cakes in the future.

Where do I start? I cannot recommend Jan and her business enough. Having been let down by another supplier at short notice, Jan jumped in and offered to design and make our wedding cake without any fuss.
Our journey with Jan from start to finish has been seamless and refreshing. Jan sent through our cake taster box which was immaculately presented and contained delicious cakes- I have kept the packaging as a keep sake!! All communication was quick and detailed (I spy a PA!!…) and Jan kept us in the loop at every step of the process.
The cake…. Wow. My wedding cake exceeded all expectations. It was simply perfect by design and taste- everyone commented on how delicious it was.
Jan is someone who will go above and beyond to please her customers and ensure that they are happy. She certainly went above and beyond for us to include a card congratulating us on our wedding day and we couldn’t be more thankful and grateful.

We planned our wedding rather last minute! Jan very kindly found time to make our wedding cake.
We planned a tiny wedding and so we ordered a very lovely single-tier cake. Small and perfectly made, and just what we wanted!
Jan liased with our florist to make sure the flowers on the cake exactly matched our other floral decorations.
The cake was beautifully displayed and tasted delicious. We all enjoyed it on the day, and my husband and I had enough to take home!

The wonderful and talented Jan Finn from Wedding Cakes by Cake Celebrations created our bespoke wedding cake.
Although we had no clear idea in mind to start besides our colour scheme of Royal Blue, Jan surpassed all our expectations.
This was from attention to detail to the three teirs of mouth watering vanilla sponge which was so well received by our guests.

I have known Jan for quite a few years now – she has a natural talent for baking and decorating many kinds of cakes to an exceptional standard. Her flair and skills are quite extraordinary – she is incredibly talented.
I asked her to make my wedding cake in March 2016. I just gave her an idea of colour, we chatted about design and I really left the rest to her. The result was amazing and exceeded all my expectations. Her attention to detail and presentation was truly outstanding. The cake was delicious too! I still have the sugar paste flower topper decoration from my wedding cake and keep it safely on display as part of my wedding day celebration.

Cake celebrations made our wedding cake the showstopper that many of our wedding guests still talk about.
Jan has been the most helpful, easy to talk to and reliable supplier. I had a rough idea of how I wanted the cake to look and as if by magic Cake Celebrations have managed to sketch and make exactly what I had in mind! Not only did the cake looked fabulous (5 tiers!) but it also tasted amazing!
